    1. From the PS4 Home Screen, Scroll up to access the Home menu.
    2. Select [Settings]-> [Devices]-> [Audio Devices]-> [Microphone Level]
    3. You will now be able to see the Input Volume being given by your headset, adjust the Microphone Level bar to the desired setting.
    4. Scroll to OK and Press the X button
    5. Make sure your In-Mic is showing a green line which designates it as being on.

  • First, make sure your Xbox controller has fresh batteries.  The Xbox One console is set up so the mic audio will turn off if your batteries are low in order to conserve power within the controller.

    If your headset is connected direct to the controller via 3.5mm give the following a try:

    1. Disconnect the headset from your controller
    2. Reboot your Xbox
    3. Sign into your profile
    4. Connect the headset back to your controller.
    5. Verify the headset itself is not muted. (Green line is on TX in-line Mic)
    6. On your Xbox one controller double tap the Xbox button
    7. Scroll to the settings icon.
    8. Make sure the setting Headset mic is set to on.
    9. Adjust the mixer settings to desired levels.

  • The TX headset should be automatically configured to just receive chat audio.  But if you are getting the game audio through the headset as well, follow the steps below.

    1. Go into your settings menu
    2. Then Devices
    3. Audio devices
    4. For the input and output devices select the wired headset
    5. Go back to audio devices and select the “output to headphones” option
    6. Make sure that option is set to “chat only”

  • Yes, all TX headsets work with a PC or Laptop, where you can directly plug any TX series headset into the 3.5mm aux/headphone jack on your PC onboard or PC audio card port.  Generally the PC audio port has a green indicator around or next to it.  Please refer to your PC’s audio configuration to locate the 3.5mm port.
  • Yes, to use the TX headset with your Mobile Device, you can directly plug the headset into the 3.5mm AUX port on your mobile phone or tablet device.  If you phone does not have a 3.5mm port, you may need to use a peripheral/add-on device such as a USB-C to Audio port or Lightning to Audio port device in order to use a 3.5mm port.

    When the headset is connected, make sure to set the volume of your device to a suitable level when your device detects a headset in use, usually with an icon.

  • To use a TX headset with your PS4, you will have to change some settings in the console dashboard. To do so, please follow these steps below:

    1. Plug the TX headset’s 3.5mm audio plug into the Aux port at the base of your PS4 Ds4 controller.
    2. Check your audio settings to ensure the TX headset is selected.
      a. From your PS4 home menu, go to “Settings” then select “Devices” then select “Audio Devices”.
      b. Verify “Input and output device” shows “Headset Connected to Controller”.
      c. You can now make changes to your Microphone level, Volume Control and Output to the TX headphones.

  • To use a TX headset with your Xbox One, you will have to change some settings in the console dashboard. To do so, please follow these steps below:

    1. Check if the base of your Xbox One wireless controller to ensure your controller has a 3.5mm Aux port for audio. If it does not, you will need to use a separate Xbox One headset adapter.

    2. Insert the TX headset’s 3.5mm Audio plug into the Aux port located at the controller’s base.

    3. Check your audio settings to ensure your TX headset is selected as the assigned audio device.

    4. Hit the “Menu” button on your Xbox One controller to open the console menu then select “Settings.”  You can now adjust the TX Headset volume, Headset Chat Mixer, and Mic Mixer settings.

  • Below are some steps to check first first if you are unable to hear sound from your TX headset.  Most of the time, it’s a setting that is preventing sound output/audio to your TX headset.

    • Make sure your TX headphones are turned on by checking the in-line Mic and making sure its on and you see a Green Line versus Red.  Green is On!
    • Check the volume controls on the TX headphones.
    • Re-check the wired connections to make sure all wires are properly connected.
    • If you are using a PS4, Xbox or Switch, check the audio setting on your console and make sure the TX headset is detected and showing.  Then check console audio controls.
    • If you are using a PC, check the Audio settings in your PC’s to verify the 3.5mm jack is operational.
    • If you are using a Mobile/Tablet device, check the audio settings on your iOS or Android device.  Ensure the port is active, TX is detected, and volume is turned up.

  • There are several factors that can contribute to an echo in your TX headset, however the issues are not related to the TX series.

    • The echo may originate from the person who is talking and not necessarily from the person who hears the echo.  For example, if you only hear the echo when talking to a specific person/player and not when talking to others, the problem concerns the headset connection of the person who is echoing, not your headset connection, especially being a wired TX series headset.
    • An echo may originate from a bad internet connection, lag, or wireless controller connection. Most echos come from bluetooth connections where the volume is up too high and bleeds back to the microphone causing the echo/loop.

  • Voice monitoring feedback is not a feature in the TX series headset.  This will become available in future products.
